The School Library

Tal-Ħandaq

The library was in Block 16 and located next to the school hall (visible at right).  The little building just beyond Block 16 is the boys toilet block.

The plaque on the side of the library building (see top of side panel) is of the great Maltese writer and poet Dun Karm Psaila (1871 - 1961).  Dun Karm (aka "The Bard of Malta) wrote the words of the Maltese National Anthem "L-Innu Malti" to music composed by Robert Samut.
